Golf Event
Golf is $40 per person and not your typical game. The goal is not to be the best score - but to have the most fun. We are less interested in scores and more interested in enjoying our many years of friendship. Some lost and now regained, it is a reunion of what are happy memories of Anoka. The rules are as follows. Meet at the clubhouse to pay the fees to Steve Colbert.

1) Women will tee off from the red tees. Men will tee off from the white tees.
2) 10th Hole – All tee shots shall be made with a Frisbee.
3) Last Hole – Last putt for team shall be made with a pool cue in front of designated hecklers. Rule #9 does not apply to this rule.
4) 1st Hole – $1.00 per player. Each team must report what they think their final score will be. This will be considered the opening offer. After 9 holes, the team gets another shot at predicting their final score. The team with the closest score to their prediction wins the money. 2nd place wins a round of their favorite beverage. One tie, all tie and the money goes to the Reunion committee for their hard work.
5) 6th Hole. Anything on the green is a gimme but you must count one shot for that gimme. You may put if you like but it is not necessary.
6) 4th Hole. The cup will be a little larger here. Put the ball within the taped area around the hole and you’re in the cup.
7) Every player gets one mulligan to be used on anything but a putt or from a sand trap. Use it on any hole. If you do not strike the ball, it does not count as a swing. Try again. And again. If hitting it doesn’t work, you may throw it.
8) Whenever not on the green or in a sand trap, your team may move the ball two club lengths to gain a better shot. However, not towards the pin.
9) There are no lost balls and no strokes will be counted against your team. We all know that eventually the golf ball will be found and is therefore a stolen ball. There is also no “out of bounds” If these penny pinching course owners had bought sufficient land, this would not have happened. The course should apologize, not penalize.
10) Golf balls are not allowed to defy gravity. If your ball travels over the hole or right on the edge of the hole, it is deemed to have dropped into the hole.
11) On the first Par 5 hole, all team members must hit their first shot with an iron.
12) Longest Drive for men on hole #13
13) Longest Drive for women on hole #4
14) Longest Putt on hole #9
15) Closest to the Pin on hole #17.
